Dublin

I'm sitting here in my hostel's lobby, grimy and red-eyed, wishing they didn't have a 2pm check-in. It's really interesting finally being in Ireland--I've heard and read so much about it, but now that I'm here, it still surprises me.

Anyway, my battery is about to die, and my British plug converter is in the luggage storeroom, so I have to go. More soon.

Dublin is fun. I'm sure you look very foreign there. :) Just don't bash Chris O'Donnell... I made that mistake and got an earful from an Irishman outside a disco. Of course, I told him I was Irish and he all of a sudden decided I was ok and bought me a beer, talking about how grand it was to be Irish. I love the Irish.

That's ironic that you say I look foreign. Other people have told me I look typically Irish. As I look at the people surrounding me, I wonder what they were referring to... I wonder who it was who said that? I'll have to think about it.
